Camera, lights, action!
Interestingly, Sand le Mere Holiday Village on the East Yorkshire coast has launched the UK's first smartphone photography course. If your technology preference is a mobile phone which let’s face it is jolly handy, then this course is for you.
Elaine Taylor (@sunflowerof21) is one of the UK's leading mobile phone photographers and recently picked up an award at the worldwide iPhone Photography Awards.
The idea is to provide course participants with a crash course on how to get the most from the camera on their mobile phone. Elaine will give valuable tips on lighting, composition, perspective and even how to use image-editing apps.
The 3-hours lesson includes a practical session with guests encouraged to explore Sand le Mere's coastal superb setting in search of the perfect picture.
The course runs on Saturday 17th September from 10am to 1pm, or alternatively, second session takes place from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
Sand le Mere's smartphone photography class is FREE to guests of the holiday village, with 3-nights weekend breaks available from just £166 for a 2-bedrooms caravan sleeping up to 6 persons.
Gleaning photography tips from Elaine will be a worthwhile experience allowing guests to take away valuable ideas for future snapping.
