The good news is that Lantern & Larks is opening its fourth glamping site in April, surrounded by the breath-taking hills of Somerset. Top quality 6-berth tents, plus hot and cold running water take away any camping worries for parents.
Kittisford Barton near Wellington, Somerset is the location of Lantern & Larks latest glamping experience. The setting is especial and surrounded by a 260-acres organic farm. To add to the spectacular scenery is the Blackdown Hills AONB as a stunning backdrop.
Kittisford Barton is just half an hour west of Taunton and 10 minutes from junction 26 off the M5.
Somerset has a lot to offer visitors and is known for its beautiful beaches which are within reasonable distance of the glamping site and include the beaches at Minehead and Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater Bay Salt marshes, Cheddar Gorge and the National Trust's Dunster Castle & Water Mill.
All Lantern & Larks' colonial-style tents sleep 6 people in three bedrooms (double, twin & bunk) and also have a large living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen with running water, log burning range, WC & shower with hot and cold running water and a large wooden deck at the front. Kittisford Barton consists of 5 tents dotted around a 12-acre field.
