No Man's Fort - A private island in the Solent, 1.4 miles from the Isle of Wight
This amazing venue opens its doors on March 26th following extensive renovations. The exciting opening of the second of the three forts owned by AmaZing Venues, No Man's Fort is now taking bookings for day trip guests and overnight stays.
Lunch experiences start from just £99 per person, for 4-courses and includes return boat transfers from Gunwharf Quays, in Portsmouth. Delicacies which are often served as part of the set menu include mackerel, which is actually caught right off the side of the fort!
For those wishing to extend the magic of the fort for longer, then an overnight experience is now available (full board) from just £450 per room, per night. The package includes a welcome glass of Champagne, a 4-course lunch experience, and a tot of rum! The following morning, guests may partake in a full English breakfast before departing back to Portsmouth.
Built between 1867 and 1880 to protect Portsmouth from Napoleon III, No Man's Fort is the larger sister venue to Spitbank Fort (opened in 2012), and soon established itself as a fabulous party venue.
The new fort accommodates large events, catering for 200 people and has 22 bedrooms. Exciting new developments include two helicopter pads for private use, a nightclub, laser tag, games rooms, snooker room, meeting space, rooftop hot-pool, glass-floored lighthouse, gallery restaurant, wine bar and spa facilities offering signature sea salt treatments (naturally, the salt is sourced from just five metres away!).
