Sweden is a beautiful country and a great holiday destination with numerous experiences for visitors. Just think mountain hiking, forest and beach walks, lake fishing, canoeing, helicopter sightseeing plus boat tours and you will get the picture!

Guests accommodation is at Arrenjarka, a 19th-century homestead on an historic migration route for the Sami and their reindeer herds. It is a given that the photography opportunities on this trip will be awesome

Visitors can discover signs of ancient man and listen to stories about Sami life. In total Laponia boasts four national parks; Muddus, Sarek, Padjelanta and Stora Sjöfallet. All of the parks are recognised by Unesco as the largest area in the world with an ancestral way of life.

Guests will stay in spacious log cabins on the banks of Lake Saggat with views of the water, saunas (of course!), fully equipped kitchens and lounges with open fires. The main building has a bar and a renowned restaurant run by the owners who traditionally live off the land. Mouth watering dishes are available using locally sourced Arctic char, reindeer and moose.
