Bath Christmas Market occupies a stunning location in the heart of the city, nestled between the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. Soak up the festive sights, smells and sounds from over 200 decorated wooden chalets as you wander through the picturesque Georgian streets and squares.

Immerse yourself in this magical festive shopping experience and you will be sure to find the perfect present for friends and family or perhaps even a little something to treat yourself.  With local artwork, handmade Christmas decorations, bespoke jewellery, homewares, festive food and drink, toys, accessories and even gifts for pets you will be spoilt for choice.

Filling the streets with music and festive joy during the Bath Christmas market are various entertainers from carol singers to local dramatic societies. Children from local schools will be singing their favourite Christmas songs and Bath Abbey will be opening their doors for Shopper’s Carols.

Weary shoppers can drop into The Lodge for comforting winter food and warming tipples from Bath Ales. The relaxing rustic décor make The Lodge the perfect place to take a well-earned rest and soak up the festive atmosphere.

The magic of Bath at Christmas

Take a break from shopping with a visit to Bath on Ice at Royal Victoria Park. Big kids and little ones can take a spin from 17th November to 2nd January and then tuck into delicious pizza and a mug of mulled wine or hot chocolate to warm up. Glow in the dark mini golf returns for another fun-filled family activity to be enjoyed as the night draws in.

No. 1 Royal Crescent and The American Museum in Britain will both be dressed for Christmas if you are in need of another hit of festive fun. Theatre Royal Bath’s pantomime never disappoints and, packed with comedy, slapstick, singing, dancing and plenty of audience participation, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will surely be the fairest of them all.
