A new 9-days workshop is available from Tatra Photography allowing animal enthusiasts the opportunity to capture these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. The surroundings of Lake Clark in Alaska is stunning providing photography opportunities in abundance.
The workshop runs from 3rd to 11th and 10th to 18th September 2016.
This trip will be a rare and amazing experience. The package includes return flights, transfers, full-board accommodation, the services of a guide and national park entrance fees.
Visitors will be able to capture female bears with their cubs, bears fishing for salmon, or clamming on the beach. The background of the images will be perfectly complimented by the wondrous backdrop that Lake Clark has to offer. There is an array of stunning volcanoes, jagged mountains, glaciers, wild rivers and waterfalls.
The bear’s movements will dictate the schedule of the package and guests will spend at least 8-hours a day photographing the animals. Reassuringly, the tutor for this tour is multi-award winning wildlife photographer and feature contributor to National Geographic magazine, Andrew Parkinson. Andrew will ensure that the group positions themselves for the best light backdrops. Experienced guides join the tour and have valuable knowledge of each individual bear.
During the trip guests will reside at the Homestead Bear Lodge. All rooms are spacious with en-suite facilities and fantastic views of either Lake Clark, or the gardens surrounding the lodge.
