JAPAN - A destination for all seasons
Autumn Foliage (Oct-Dec)
With almost 75% of Japan’s landscape covered in trees, it’s no wonder people want to flock to the mountains when the autumn foliage is in full bloom. This usually starts in the north by October and works it’s way down to Kyoto by mid November.
Spiritual Mountains & Samurai Trails takes in not only the autumn Foliage but also a soak in an outdoor river/onsen (hot spring) on the banks of Kawayu Onsen. Kawayu River turns into a natural hot spring from December to February. Quite the experience!!
Winter Sports (Dec – Mar)
Chose from world class ski resorts on the Japanese Alps in Nagano, or to the deep valleys guaranteed to give you fluffy powder snow in Niseko and Furano in Hokkaido, Japan is up there among the top places to Ski/Snowboard in the world. While making the trip though, we highly recommend to take in some sights in Tokyo & Kyoto while you’re at it. Spend one week on the slopes allowing 2-3 nights in each city too. All transfers, ski rentals, lessons, passes, accommodations, and English speaking assistance is on offer to you once you land by our team of local experts.

Family holidays to Japan (May-September)
Make the most of your summer holidays with your children and bring them on a holiday that takes in more than beach and pool time. Allow your children to experience another world, another culture, and most importantly, another discipline. Japanese people are renowned for being super polite, clean, concerned about other people, and massive foodies. Their diet is not only healthy but really varied and popular with children of all ages and varying taste buds.
Some popular family holidays include Traditional & Tropical Japan which takes in the speedy bullet train rides, rural ryokans, local guides, city tours tailored for your family, and finishes off on a tropical island in the south called Amami Ooshima where you can go canoeing, swimming in crystal clear waters, rent-a-car or better still, hire a driver, and ride in the glass bottom boat or take up scuba diving!!
