South Tyneside holds the event annually and this year it runs from 11th to 13th March. With Gala Shows and a Family Magic Extravaganza it is a wonderful experience for all ages.
Of course, such an exciting event attracts performers from around the world and not just the UK. Audiences can watch performers from Hong, Kong, Belgium, Holland and the USA. UK performers will be joining the event on 11th and 12th March, alongside American acts Chad Long and John Carney, Swedish star Malin Nilsson, German award-winner Alana and Belgian man of mystery, Rafael.
The amazing Family Magic Extravaganza welcomes a selection of English entertainers and it will be a truly fun experience. The talented Dutch performer, Mr Lido, is visiting the festival on 9th March.
Professional performers can mix with like-minded souls at a specialist convention from 11th to 13th March which is sponsored by Customs House and BBC Newcastle.
It is good to see that ardent magic fans are welcome at the festival and not just professional performers. Plenty of events are planned including three days of lectures, workshops and performances designed to help share best practice and skills.
There is no doubt that laughter and wit will be in abundance at the International Magic Festival. To find out more about the full line up of performances, just visit:
