Discover Alice’s fantasy world and follow the map to find Alice, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit and the totally Mad Hatter!

Visitors will be greeted by a magician when they enter Groombridge Place. The hunt begins and signposts will guide children to the magic keyhole for the start of their journey in the Enchanted Forest and Gardens. Once found, each character will give the children clues to help find eggs which they can give to the Queen in return for a delicious treat.

There will be giant mushrooms and a huge door in the enchanted forest to make everyone feel very small, just like Alice! Everyone is invited to the Mad Hatters tea party to join in with egg painting and croquet on the lawn before watching a theatre performance (three planned per day).

Face painting will also be available in a choice of characters from Alice in Wonderland (small charge applies).

Do take time to stroll round the beautiful gardens which overlook the attractive moated 17th century manor house. There is also a giant chess set and a secret garden with a stream, to keep children occupied. The coffee bar will also be open for tasty snacks, coffees and scrumptious homemade cakes.

The Alice in Wonderland event will be enthralling for families and there is no doubt that it is worth adding to the diary this Easter. Event runs from 2nd to 19th April.
