Explore the great outdoors with Sir Ranulph Fiennes May 23rd - 25th; an exhilarating weekend of fun for all the family
Over the dynamic three-day event, visitors can take part in a raft of outdoor activities like biking, sailing and boarding. They can be inspired by a full seminar programme in which heroes like Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Mark Woods and Felicity Aston talk about just what it takes to embark on unsupported expeditions. They can learn valuable survival tips from intrepid experts and how to plan for adventures large and small.
Out on the water, the amazing Newfound Friends charity and handler Ellie Bedford will be demonstrating how Newfoundland dogs perform lifesaving water rescue missions. Back on land, visitors can be enthralled by the awesome bike stunts of the Action Sports Tour team.
Families and outdoor enthusiasts can visit The Big Outdoor Show for the day or camp for the whole weekend. There’s loads of fabulous entertainment planned including live music, open-air film screenings, food and drink to suit all tastes plus the opportunity to browse and buy from the very many exhibitors dotted around the showground.
This highly affordable festival will showcase just what fun can be enjoyed outside and the amenity-rich Willen lakeside venue is easily accessed from the M1 and by rail.
