Halloween takes on a new meaning at Groombridge Place, Kent 26th October to 2nd November 2014
Join the many spooky activities, including unique theatrical events performed by the talented Human Zoo Theatre Company. Rest assured that children will be enthralled by the whole experience.
There is an opportunity to hop on the Ghost Boat Ride which leads you into the Pirate’s Lair where scrummy food and beverages are available, including BBQ food, mulled wine and warming homemade pumpkin soup.
Thrilled families will be amazed as they watch the fire-breathing mutineers showing off their sword-fighting skills. Alternatively, why not keep the insane Pirate Queen company, aboard her scary ship and join her for a wicked dance routine to ward off enemies? If you fancy dancing some more, then test out your skills at the ‘Thriller’ workshop taking place in the forest. Better still, you can follow little red-riding hood as she makes her way through the woodland for a dramatic trick-or-treat experience.
Plenty of children’s activities are planned, including scary face-painting and creating your own magic wand. There are no tea-time hassles as tasty ‘Halloween’ themed meals will be available to purchase. It is also worth noting that families are welcome to come along in fancy dress to the event, and children with the most striking outfits will be awarded prizes.
Without doubt, Groombridge Place is putting on a selection of fabulous events and it will be a truly awesome Halloween experience, not to be missed!
