This thought-provoking festival will encourage us to look at how we live each day and why sustainability is the key to helping our planet become a better place.

Numerous activities are on offer for families over two weekends and include a treasure hunt on Bristol’s historic harbour, open top bus tours around the city, craft activities, and a fabulous tour of the harbour by boat to view the abundant waterside wildlife.

However, if you are looking for more creative events, there are nine days of fascinating talks, workshops, art, music, poetry, comedy and films to keep you entertained.   Of course, no festival is complete without sustenance and the Big Market located in the streets of the Old City is selling delicious food and drinks while live music plays on the various street stages.

There is no doubt that Big Green Week 2014 is most definitely a festival of our times!  Please visit the festival website for further details on the events and where they are taking place across Bristol.
