The thrill of a life-time awaits children at Polesden Lacey in Surrey, this August, as The Great Big Tree Climbing Company visit the National Trust, to provide two highly skilled instructors to assist adventurous children who wish to climb in the canopy of the huge oak tree in Preserve Copse!

The challenge is to enter the tree's canopy using ropes, knots and karabiners, and reassuringly a harness will be securely attached to children throughout.  Once the top of the tree has been reached, the view will be totally awesome and your child will feel so proud of their achievements. There will even be an opportunity to zip wire back down for brave souls!  Each session will have a maximum of seven participants allowing your child to experience this unique tree climb in small numbers.

Interestingly, The Great Big Tree Climbing Company are happy to tailor activities for those with special needs, please contact in advance who will be delighted to discuss your requirements

Please note that in the event of high winds or thunder and lightning on the day, the event will be postponed.

This event is a must-do activity for your diary over the summer holidays and is sure to provide a fantastic photo opportunity!
