Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival in Aberaeron has grown to be one of the highlights of the food calendar in Wales.

Several thousand people are expected to flock to the quayside in the ‘Jewel of Cardigan Bay’ for the 16th annual festival on Sunday, 7th July to see and taste the best of local seafood, fish and other produce.

On the eve of the festival, on 6th July from 7pm to 9pm, there will be a children’s crabbing competition, live music and the RNLI lifeboat will arrive.

An impressive line up of talented chefs will be giving cooking demonstrations and inviting people to sample dishes whilst local food producers will be exhibiting a wonderful range of products.

The chefs will include Stephen Terry from The Hardwick, Abergavenny, Roger Jones from The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, Gareth Johns from The Wynnstay Hotel, Machynlleth, Hywel Jones from Lucknam Park, Bath, Dudley Newberry of S4C fame, Stuart Phillips from The Hundred House, Norton, Bryan Webb from Tyddyn Llan, Llandrillo, Sue Manson from Y Polyn, Nantgaredig, Scott Davis from Cnwd, Elin Wyn Williams from Bant a la Cart, Cardiff and Ludlovic Dieumegard and Kelly Thomas from The Harbourmaster, Aberaeron.
