Euphorium Bakery opens new City branch
Located just a stone's throw from Bank tube station, the city branch of Euphorium Bakery will bring the best of British baking to this superb location. With hand-baked pastries and breads, freshly made sandwiches and salads, gourmet coffee, cakes and a delicious new hot carvery, customers can choose from a counter or dining area for breakfast meetings and relaxed lunches, while there will be a handy grab-and-go section for busy City workers.
The story of Euphorium bakery began when a simple store opened on Upper Street, Islington in 1999. Of course, at the time, no one knew that it was the start of a baking revolution. The bakery quickly became famous for making quality goods fresh from scratch every day. Customers raved about the outstanding cakes and pastries, the inspired choice of baked savouries and artisan hand-made breads. The shops and cafés began to blossom in various locations around north London.
Following this success, Euphorium bakery owner and founder Daniel Bear has decided to bring the revolution to the City Of London, offering something unique to the area - high quality, freshly prepared food and drinks, along with exceptional service and a friendly, local, personal touch.
Exclusive to this Euphorium Bakery location is the brand new carvery, serving freshly baked breads crammed with the finest cuts of British sourced, slow roasted meats and delicious accompaniments. This will include hot breakfast sandwiches - some filled with bacon carved straight from the joint.
A specially designed mezzanine floor will house a gourmet coffee bar run by expert Head Barista Anthony Khouri, providing a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for customers and business meetings alike. Working closely with Italian coffee connoisseurs Kimbo, Euphorium Bakery has created two new and bespoke house blends, and will also offer a different guest blend of coffee each month.
To complement the traditionally 'bowler-hatted' City location, the interior design will feature classic city iconism, juxtaposed with Euphorium Bakery's classic urban village concept, with handmade wooden tables and traditional furnishings.
