‘POLAR IF SOL’ island
Located in one of the most remote parts of the Southern Pacific's crystal clear waters, is a breath-taking, undisturbed paradise. The miniature island is surrounded by lush green palm trees, pure white sandy beaches and tranquil waters. It is believed that no human life is on the island, and no signs have been found of anyone ever having been there before. This is indeed a rare find!
The new island is almost a mile wide, including a lagoon, and just over a mile long. From the beaches, the view of the South Pacific is awesome. A peaceful ambiance pervades the island and it is very beautiful.
You cannot beat this location – it is truly a jewel in the crown of the Pacific Ocean. Relaxation and stillness is part of the island’s charm. Brown & Hudson are specialists in providing unique travel experiences and are currently analysing and investigating the island with an aim to offer Polar If Sol as a luxury destination. Surely, a bespoke trip to a newly discovered paradise island is a totally unique experience?
The island's unusual shape - round, with a watery lagoon in the middle resembles a Polo mint! Hence, the island’s nickname ‘Polar If Sol’ (Polo in the Sun). The name has been roughly translated from the nearest language which is Tuvaluan, from the neighbouring South Pacific island, Tuvalu.
