The Jewels of Persia by Bicycle is a 15 days, moderately challenging cycling tour that takes travellers along a stunning route through Central Iran.

The Route

This 15-days tour begins in Shiraz and ends in Tehran.

What level of cycling experience is the tour designed for?

Reassuringly, the tour is designed for active riders looking for a few challenging rides. The route is comprised of 9 full days and one half day of cycling for 650 total kilometres. Any portion can be skipped by taking a break in the support vehicle, which follows the tour group and is always close at hand.

Tour participants can expect to pay a total cost of approximately £2746 and an extra £141 for bicycle hire.

This price includes all accommodation and meals, support vehicle, a SpiceRoads cycling jersey/water bottle, and visa authorization. Note: the above price excludes domestic flights/visa fees.
