To help visitors explore this booming wine region, Loudoun's wineries are divided into four distinct themed experiences.  Each of them features everything from wineries with music and delicious local food, to vineyards with intimate tastings.  Visitors can also meet the winemaker in Virginia's storied hunt country.

From boutique wineries to Mediterranean-style estates there is much to enjoy. Visitors can experience Virginia varietals, surprising blends and the state grape, the Viognier, while talking with award-winning winemakers.

There will be time to take a break from wine and sample small batch, hand-crafted local brews. Visitors can let their palate be their guide, or follow one of the LoCo Ale Trail itineraries, which highlight all types of breweries.

Opportunities to partake in true farm-to-table meals will be available, as well as visiting numerous restaurants located on, or adjacent to the farms providing fresh produce.

Evenings are perfect for dining under the stars in a glass atrium, or in a circa 1905 restored mill. It is worth visiting the trendy café that was once a shoe shop and a turn-of-the century national bank building which is now a lovely restaurant.
