Menai Holiday Cottages have opened 5 luxurious apartments at Harlech which provide wonderful views of Harlech Castle.

The accommodation has been developed at the site of a former hotel.  The view of Harlech Castle's commanding twin-towered gatehouse and castle walls will not disappoint visitors. The ground floor of the new development has been fully transformed into a modern visitor’s centre, and the first and second floors accommodate the sumptuous apartments, each sleeping up to 2 persons.

Interestingly, Harlech Castle was built by Edward I at the end of the 13th century and is located on a sheer cliff face overlooking picture-perfect Snowdonia.  The view from the castle apartments is stunning, with mountains and coastal views.

Guests can leave the hustle and bustle of daily life behind them and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere on the peaceful hilltop town of Harlech.   The old-fashioned narrow, winding streets feature quaint shops ideal for purchasing gifts and the award-winning Castle Cottage Restaurant is perfect for fine dining.  The menu includes locally caught fish, seafood and succulent meats.

All guests who stay at the Harlech Castle apartments will be entitled to a 3-day’s complimentary 'Explorer Pass' from Cadw.  The pass allows guests to enjoy access to some of the area’s most popular heritage sites for free.

The one-bedroom apartments will offer year-round quality accommodation which is available to let on a self-catering, bed and breakfast, or catered basis.   Catering can be arranged by Menai Holiday Cottages.
