Go with the flow – and WIN one of two instant Polaroid cameras in our great new photo competition

The theme this time is water and what form it takes is down to you. It could be a scenic waterfall, or a pristine lake, cleverly-captured rain droplets or ocean-crashing waves, and even clouds or snow. Send us up to two water-themed shots and you could win one of two instant digital Polaroid cameras; one for adults and one for under-16s.
One of the most famous names in photography, Polaroid, has long been known for providing instant karma with its instant prints.
Now, it has brought that right up to date with its flagship Z340 camera, which not only prints out your pictures in an instant, but it also stores them as digital images. And, if you are 16 or over, you can win one for yourself in our fantastic new photography competition in conjunction with Polaroid.
The prizes
Adult prize (16 and over): Polaroid Z340 instant digital camera: RRP £229.99

The Polaroid Z340 combines the convenience of a digital camera with instant printing and this 14 megapixel camera features a 4x digital zoom, 3x4 full colour images printed in under a minute as well as onboard editing and viewing options.
Junior prize (under-16s): Polaroid 300 instant camera: RRP £79.99

For retro-lovers, the Polaroid 300 instant camera is a new twist on the classic instant photo and is available in red, blue or black. With four scene settings and automatic flash, you can capture the perfect shot in any light and print it instantly.
The Z340 is available from Amazon.co.uk, Warehouse Express, Jacobs and Jessops and other leading photography shops, while the PIC 300 is available from Amazon.co.uk. Packs of 10 Polaroid instant films, bought separately, can be used with both cameras.

Terms & Conditions
1. Only one portfolio entry is allowed per person. A portfolio consists of up to two photographs, with a water theme.
2. Professional photographers are excluded.
3. Photographs may have been taken at any time. Any entries deemed not to comply will not be put forward for judging.
4. Closing date is midnight on March 4, 2012. Entries submitted after that date will be ineligible.
5. A panel of judges, consisting of representatives from Polaroid and TLM Media Ltd, will select 12 photographs as finalists from entries into both the Adult and Junior categories which fulfil the requirements of the competition as soon as possible after that date. Anyone entering the Junior category and found to be aged 16 or over at time of entry may have their entries excluded or moved to the Adult category, at the judges’ discretion. The judges’ decision in all matters will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. The 12 finalists for both categories will then be posted onto the tlm Facebook page, with voting on the tlm website. The entries gaining the most votes in each category will be declared the winner and receive the corresponding prize – subject to the judges’ discretion. The Adult category prize consists of a Polaroid Z340 instant digital camera, with an RRP of £229.99. The Junior category prize consists of a Polaroid 300 instant camera, RRP £79.99.
7. Any finalist found soliciting for votes online will have their entries excluded from the competition. TLM Media Ltd and Polaroid also reserve the right to discount votes if voting patterns are deemed to be suspicious. Only one vote is allowed per person. Multiple voting attempts may result in that finalist being excluded.
8. The prizes are not transferrable and there are no cash alternatives.
9. Digital manipulation may be used to optimise images. You may also crop image but adding or removing elements which would otherwise appear is not allowed. Brightness, contrast and colour balance may be adjusted, and dust spots can be retouched. Images may also be sharpened. Composite or montage photographs produced from more than one original image will not be eligible, including multiple images stitched together to form a panoramic image. Multiple exposures in camera will be allowed. The winner may be required to produce the original image files before the prize is awarded.
10. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to allow your images to be reproduced without fee in the Reader Area of the tlm website, on the tlm Facebook page and in print within tlm magazine, if selected.
11. By entering the competition you are also agreeing to allow your images to be used for possible publicity purposes by Polaroid, in connection with the competition.
12. The winners of the Adult and Junior competitions may be required to participate in publicity.
13. Entrants must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all images entered by them. It is the legal responsibility of the entrant, and not the organisers, to ensure that these ownership and copyright requirements are complied with and that they own the rights to reproduction of their images. Entries not fulfilling these criteria will be deemed ineligible and disqualified. Where this is discovered after the prize has been awarded, the winner will be disqualified and the prize, or the equivalent value, returned by the entrant.
14. Copyright will remain with the authors of the photographs entered, and neither TLM Media Ltd nor Polaroid will make any claim on said copyright.
15. All photographs entered must comply with UK laws and not be considered offensive, vulgar or exploitative. Unsuitable images will be removed and deleted without reverting to the sender.
16. This competition is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man except employees of TLM Media Ltd, Polaroid, their families or agents.
17. There is no age limit, but entrants under 18 must gain parental or guardian permission before entering and entrants for the Junior category must state their age. Proof may be required.
