The festival runs from 23rd May to 4th June at the University of Leicester’s Attenborough Arts Centre and includes free activities and yummy child-friendly food, in the recently refurbished Attenborough Café.

Activities are available for all ages in the family.  See below highlights:

Doodle Dance: 24th and 25th May

Join like-minded families and get creative by doodling until you can scribble no more!

Poggle: 27th & 28th May

Aimed at very young children, Poggle is a funny, sensory dance theatre event with live music and bubbles, guaranteed to light up young faces!

Baby Disco: 27th & 28th May

The Baby Disco is a popular activity.  Toddlers are invited to dance their way on a journey through sound and lots of movement to tire them out!

Sponge: 3rd June

Dance company Turned On Its Head is running the family dance show Sponge.  It will be a lovely experience encouraging plenty of fun family interactions.

Cabinet of Curiosities: 1st June

A fun and FREE workshop exploring your imagination to make a sculpture to join the festival display. This event will be led by artist Jo Dacombe.  The workshop is aimed at children aged 4 and upwards.

FREE daily activities:

Young children can enjoy FREE activities every day in the Attenborough Café.  Also, each Saturday FREE Gallery Family workshops will be available (28th May and 4th June) exploring fun themes, materials and ideas from the exhibition.
