This is where Tech Camp fits in. Running four week-long courses this summer at bases in London and Winchester, Tech Camp is manna from heaven for youngsters who perhaps love taking things apart but haven't got as far with putting them back together.

Kids aged between 9 and 17 can either spend their week attending daily or on a residential course. Many of the tutors are former Tech Camp students who have gone on to further their learning at some of the country’s top universities including Cambridge and Imperial, or have worked at the likes of Google and Dyson.

Ideal for inquisitive young minds looking for stimulation during the summer months, the learning continues with take-home projects that ensure the innovation and inventing doesn’t end after the course finishes. Building robots, rockets, learning coding skills, designing computer games, getting stuck in to 3D design, electronics and model-making are just some of the activities students will get their teeth into during a week of inspiration and creativity.

Summer 2016 sees courses run over four weeks in July and August, with London hosting day campers at Chelsea Academy. Courses in Winchester are run throughout August over a four-week period and are for day campers or on a residential basis at The Wessex Centre, part of the Sparsholt College campus.
