Easton Walled Gardens near Grantham in Lincolnshire welcome children for a half term of exploring, making and creating.  Activities will include the ancient game of pumpkin rolling, which challenges players to roll a pumpkin down the beautiful grass terraces without breaking your pumpkin, the furthest roller wins. 

Guests can also feed the snails, create their own grass hedgehog or design Halloween masks.

The tearoom is open every day serving warming homemade soups and light lunches. If the sun is shining then families are welcome to bring a picnic. Walk in 12 acres of grounds, find out the fascinating history behind these 400 year old gardens or just build a den and kick a ball on the huge lawns.

The gardens are open and activities are available on the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, from 11am to 4pm during half term week (22nd to 31st October.
