Edinburgh events go underground for first ever 'Close Fest'
Running from 31st October to 9th November, the week-long programme will feature the best in local talent. Events will range from quirky comedy, chilling theatre, melancholy music and murder mystery.
Highlights include a return of The Dark Truth Tour, an Edinburgh Festival Fringe sell-out that returns for one night only on the spookiest night of the year. Also showing is the award nominated enchanting yet obscure Twonkey’s Blue Cadabra; and a 1940s era Murder Mystery where guests find themselves at the centre of a most hideous crime.
The festival marks the tenth anniversary since the warren of streets that make up The Real Mary King’s Close opened as a visitor attraction and offers something for everyone. It will give loyal audiences a compelling reason to return to the Close to experience it in a completely fresh light.
Already a popular site for private events, the atmosphere, acoustics, darkness and intimacy of The Real Mary King’s Close, promises to make Close Fest events a truly memorable evening.
