A weekend of tantalising crime, mystery and suspense awaits super-sleuths looking for a challenge this October!  Events will take place at selected National Trust for Scotland properties across Aberdeenshire, including Leith Hall, Castle Fraser and Fyvie Castle.

Many family events are planned including storytelling by Debbie Leslie, the author of the Fyvie Castle Witch Trials, who will enthral children with tales about the mysterious happenings at the House of Haddo.

Try joining in the Wildlife Crime Scene Investigation.  Can children solve the bird box mystery in the woods? Who on earth did it?  The eggs have been eaten and clues have been left to discover the culprit.  Children will find this event a real challenge.

Families can join in the CSI event where you can enter the world of real CSIs, with suspects, DNA, toxicology and fingerprints which will stretch your investigation skills to the limit.  You will work alongside detectives from Absafe to examine clues, meet with witnesses, pore over the medical evidence and try to solve the case!

Do visit the Unsolved Crime & Mystery Festival this autumn – it is sure to be a fun event for all of the family.
