The National History Museum in London is a fascinating experience and with FREE entry is accessible to all. Even better, the outdoor ice skating rink is now open until 8th January and you cannot beat a more magnificent backdrop of the museum building.

There is no doubt that the ice skating rink provides a thrilling add-on activity to a museum visit. Reassuringly, there is an area reserved for young children which allows confidence building time on the ice!

For skaters in need of refreshment there is a Café Bar open daily which offers good meals, snacks and refreshments, including hot drinks and a range of wines, beers and soft drinks.

The NHM ice skating rink staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a lovely, well-organised event and well worth the ticket price.  If you are looking to visit a London ice skating rink this season it is well worth checking out the NHM.
