Field Day is back and better than ever before - as this East London music festival will sprawl over two days for the very first time. Increasing in popularity every year since its launch in 2007, this music event has established itself as a firm favourite in the capital, with this year set to being no exception.

Taking place in Victoria Park, the festival boasts a stellar line-up once again, championing alternative music from a range of genres such as indie rock, obscure pop and underground dance.

Thanks to its new two day format, US indie rock band Pixies will be headlining Saturday, while electro pop group Metronomy will top the bill on Sunday. Lucky attendees can also feast their ears on the likes of The Horrors, Temples, Pond, Erol Alkan and Simian Mobile Disco to name just a few.

A weekend of fun awaits at this glorious June festival, which offers brilliant music, plenty of dancing and a whole lot of mouth-watering food - all packed into Tower Hamlet’s much-loved park.

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June, Victoria Park
