The annual London theatre initiative, Kids Week (www.kidsweek.co.uk) is offering an exciting line-up of 34 shows, offering free tickets and activities for children and families from the 1st to the 31st of August 2013. Now in its 16th year and run by the Society of London Theatre, Kids Week is all about encouraging young people to experience the magic of live theatre. Any child aged 16 or under can go free to participating shows, when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Up to two extra children’s tickets can be purchased at half price.

The shows are:  The 39 Steps, Billy Elliot the Musical, The Bodyguard, Brainiac Live, A Chorus Line, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, Dinosaur Zoo, Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage, Disney's The Lion King, Fences, The Golden Voice, Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain, Jersey Boys, The Ladykillers, Let It Be, Mamma Mia!, Matilda the Musical, Les Misérables, Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Mousetrap, One Man, Two Guvnors, The Phantom Of The Opera, Rock Of Ages, The Sound Of Music, Stomp, Thriller Live, Top Hat, War Horse, We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, West Side Story, We Will Rock You, Wicked, and The Woman In Black (all shows subject to availability; certain shows and performances have very limited ticket availability; age suitability guidance is on the Kids Week website).

Tickets for Kids Week, which will run for the whole of August, go on sale on Tuesday 18th June at www.kidsweek.co.uk and by telephone 0844 248 5151, supported by Ticketmaster with no booking or postage fees.
