The Waveney Inn is Waveney Valley's waterside destination pub – situated in the Waveney River Centre holiday park and marina grounds. It has been fully refurbished in 2014 and we were fortunate to stay in one of the luxurious renovated rooms. The centre is located on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders, the home of the southern broads, known for their tranquilty and wide open spaces.  Situated between Beccles and Oulton Broad, with its own marina, the centre offers many types of accommodation and boat hire packages.

We were most impressed with the room and its features. The spacious feel was enhanced by the full length window looking out over the picturesque marina, marshes and river, affording excellent views of this wildlife and nature haven.

The room was full of luxurious features. The enormous  bed was extremely comfortable, enabling us to have a perfect, restful night’s sleep. Our relaxation was helped by the addition of a 40” smart TV with Freeview channels, offering many viewing and listening options. In addition we were able to keep in touch with the world via emails and internet via the free WiFi. An outstanding feature of the room was the large, state of the art, wet room.  The walk in shower was very welcome following our walk along river. Complimentary toiletries were most welcome following our swim in the indoor pool, which was included as part of the package. After our restful sleep we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the restaurant area of the Waveney Inn before our departure.

The Waveney Inn offers a choice of seven boutique rooms starting from £88 per night including breakfast and free WiFi.
