LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel Exterior

Our visit to this unique hotel proved to be wondrous fun, genuinely child friendly and geared up to satisfy every want and need, with its happy, helpful staff.

Upon arrival, having parked for free, we enjoyed a hassle-free check-in, while the children played in, what can only be described as, a heavenly pit of Lego. Our ‘adventure’-themed accommodation included animal carpets, bright bedcovers and an imaginary map hanging above the double bed, overlooked by amazing oversized Lego models placed around the room.

There was a separate themed bunk-bed area for the children along with a free Lego gift, which was excellent. The facilities included an en-suite bathroom, with a shower, a telephone, hairdryer, televisions and a beverage tray.

Once returned to the foyer, naturally, we tried the piratical indoor water play zone, which the children absolutely adored. Hungry tummies led us to the Bricks Family Restaurant, a true child’s delight. An array of freshly cooked food with yummy deserts was available. Afterwards, we relaxed with a drink next to the children’s play area, where light entertainment had been organised.

Following a comfortable night’s stay, we enjoyed a delicious buffet and took the opportunity to use our ‘early bird’ passes to visit the Theme Park half an hour before it opened its main doors. We managed four rides on our favourite attraction ‘Atlantis’. I should highlight that Legoland is shut for the winter and re-opens on 15th March. For an unique family experience, the Legoland Resort Hotel is just the ticket at any time of the season.
