There is a fabulous variety of things to see and do for all ages. For example, visitors can indulge shopping passions at the Königsallee, one of Europe's most luxurious retail venues.

Alternatively, why not visit the historical Altstadt (Old Town) with its lively bars and restaurants? It is also worth taking a wander along the modern Media Harbour which is home to unique architectural masterpieces.

Interestingly, Düsseldorf's Rhine embankment promenade is 1,928m long. In spring, crocuses blossom along the Rhine River and the many cafés and bars beckon visitors.  It is worth partaking in the delicious local coffee, or sampling a refreshing Altbier, (Düsseldorf's dark, top-fermented beer) - this is a must-do!

Wim Wenders, who is internationally renowned for his movies (‘Wings of Desire’, ‘Paris Texas’ and ‘The Salt of the Earth’) is showing his works at Museum Kunstpalast.  "Wim Wenders – 4 REAL & TRUE 2" exhibition runs from 18th April to 16th August

Jazz fans will adore the 23rd Düsseldorf Jazz Rally! running  from 21st to 24th May.     Around 300,000 visitors from all around the world can take their pick from over 80 concerts held on 35 stages, with over 500 musicians!
