Guests will adore this luxurious experience which combines a two-nights stay at Le Saint-James, with dinner on both evenings, a day at the iconic Bay of Arcachon, oyster tasting on a typical 'pinasse’ boat, and a cookery lesson in the hotel’s state of the art cookery school.

During their stay, guests will be invited to sample a five-course gastronomic meal for two, created by Michelin starred chef, Nicolas Magie, in the hotel’s restaurant which is widely regarded to be one of the best in the region.

Seasonal menu options include ‘Scallop in different textures, Jerusalem artichoke lime and hazelnut’ and ‘Breast of pigeon ‘Mrs Leguen’ roasted with a long necklace of chickpeas, caramel of citrus fruit and endive’. Specially selected wines will accompany each course to complement the diverse tastes and textures of Magie’s creative dishes.

The hotel's own traditional French bistro, Café de l'Espérance, is located just a two minutes walk from the hotel within the village of Bouliac, the location for dinner on the second evening.

A lesson in the hotel's resident cookery school, Côté Cours, is included in the package. The classes can be tailored according to varying abilities and budding cooks are taught how to prepare simple, yet colourful and creative dishes to be enjoyed in the cookery school with a glass of wine from the hotel's vineyard.

The total price of the luxurious package is £1,404 based on two people sharing a deluxe room, and is available from April to October 2015.
